A lot of kids believe, that making others feel less than he, would make him better. The truth is some of this kids has an issue that thy want to hide from the others, that? s why, they use bullying as a defense mechanism. Another possible answer for the behavior is they want to call the attention of someone (parent, group of friend). On the other hand, is important the role of parents or big sister/brother, because most of the times these are the one kids admire and want to follow. Teacher Rosa, explain that the kids more likely to being bullied are the ones who are considered weak. And the bullies are those who are more popular around the group or are strong. Some people consider that bullying is a stage of the childhood and it will have an ending. Last statement is totally false, bullying is a problematic and it has to receive treatment. Bullies and bullied, both will have a short and long term consequences. But the victimizers are more likely to experience the consequences in long term. The bullies are more susceptible to get involve in dangerous activities (vandalize, physical fights, abuse of alcohol or/and drugs), and also they are more likely to experience bullying as his behavior does not fit in the environment of work. The psychologist Dan Olweus, of Norway, found on his study that about 60% of schools students in Scandinavian countries who were bullies had one or more incidents of being convicted of a crime by the time they were 24 years old. On the other hand, the victims might experience the consequences from the first time of bullying, such as low self-esteem, anxiety, sleep difficulties, missing classes, and so on. As we can see on the newspaper and all over the news, in the last years, the number of bullycides (is a term used to describe suicide as the result of bullying) of young people increasing alarmingly in the entire world.

Isolation And Identification Of Essential Oils - 1321 Words
Isolation and Identification of Essential Oils Lab Report Name: Lauryn Tonou Partnerââ¬â¢s name: Tiffany Keener Date submitted: 11/02/2015 Introduction Essential oils are the concentrated extracts of volatile, non-water-soluble aroma compounds from plants. They are widely used in cleaning products, cosmetic products, and perfumes, also as flavorings in foods. Essential oils are actually mixtures of organic compounds sample. However, the purpose of the lab will be to isolate and identify essential oils through steam distillation which is sometimes used to extract essential products from plants mostly in liquid form. Steam distillation actually consists of extracting liquid natural products from aromatic plants, seeds, leaves, bark, flowers, roots and more. The steam passes over the plant and extracts the essential oil. As the mixture evaporates and passes through the condenser, the vapor from the essential oils is chilled collected. It can be considered as a heating and spraying method of extraction. There is two different methods of exercising the distillation: the live steam and the direct method. However, the direct method was the one used during this experiment, where the sample and the water contained in a flask are heated and possibly covered in aluminum foil in order to generate the steam inside to be collected. This distillate now collected contains the oils and water which will be dried and gravity filtered later on using a small amount of anhydrous sodiumShow MoreRelatedLab 10: Isolation of Identification of the Major Constituent of Clove Oil928 Words à |à 4 PagesChem 253 - Organi c Chemistry I Lab 10: Isolation of Identification of the major constituent of clove oil 3/15/2012 Purpose: The purpose of this lab was to isolate the cove oil from ground cloves and determine the identity of the major constituent that is known to have the molecular formula C10H12O2 through IR spectrometry. Its supply chains were designed in the 1980ââ¬â¢s and 1990ââ¬â¢s when oil was about $10 per barrel. In the present market, cost of oil per barrel is almost 12 times the 1990ââ¬â¢s value. So redefining of supply chain strategies turned essential for P G to contain the cost effectively. P G found that most cost- effective network is more distributed, with multiple plants even in countries like China.
